When I see you on the street

Through a piece of moving glass

Take another deep breath and let it all go past

Time to heal

And far from here

When the dust has settled and the smoke has cleared

I don't want to play a game where no one wins

Where my heart just hurts and my head just spins

Froze up like a rusted back door hinge

The sun comes up

The sun goes down

Indigo sky turns orange

Happiness

Happiness

Happiness is the best revenge

Happiness is the best revenge

Like a very long night

In a bad neighborhood

Take everything I had

Didn't do any good

Hell to pay

That's for sure

Standing in line for a chance to take the cure

I used to live inside the past

Where I could hang on to a grudge more easily

Not that much has changed

Only now I feel so differently
